With 10 seconds left in the game Dan Carpenter hit a field goal from 25 yards to give the Dolphins a 25-23 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Wearing a ghastly creamsicle jersey which serves as an ugly memory of the past of Tampa Bay, Josh Freeman, rookie quarterback, gave a struggling Buccaneers team lots of reasons for being more optimistic about their future. Freeman, the third quarterback picked during the NFL draft this year, led the previously winless Tampa Bay team to their 38-28 win over Green Bay in the first start of his career on Sunday. The win ended Tampa Bay’s current league leading losing streak of 11 games.

The New England Patriots and Tom Brady needed a cross Atlantic trip to finally get a road win this season. A change in scenery for Tampa Bay only produced another loss and the Buccaneers are still winless. Tom Brady had three touchdown passes along with over 300 passing yards, as New England (5-2) defeated Tampa Bay 35-7 on Sunday in Wembley Stadium in the third NFL regular season game played in the London iconic venue.

After the defending champions of the NFC South were able to drive 80 yards during the closing minutes of the game on Sunday to defeat Tampa Bay 28-21 Williams said, I am sure that everyone inside the stadium knew exactly what we were doing. At times they had nine guys in the box, Williams added. We still were able to get 7 to 8 yards.

Donovan McNabb only needed two plays to prove he was not rusty and that his rib was just fine. McNabb had 264 yards passing and threw three touchdown passes, while Jeremy Maclin, the rookie, caught two passes for touchdowns as the Eagles defeated the Buccaneers on Sunday 33-14.
